Dark ends run cool, light ends run warm. That hue travel is what stops a ramp reading like flat grey paint over one colour.

Roughly one man in twelve sees red and green differently. If two swatches merge under Deuteranopia, they will merge in someone's eyes.

.gpl opens in Aseprite, GIMP, Krita and Inkscape. .hex is what Lospec takes. .ase is the Adobe swatch file for Photoshop and Illustrator.
Sends the colour strip to your share sheet, or copies it so you can paste it straight into a chat. On a desktop with no share sheet it saves the file instead.
