A meme, on a ledger

What is now a brand began as a community meme on the XRP Ledger. No roadmap, no pitch deck — a face, a joke, and a group of people who kept drawing it.

The XRP Ledger mattered for a plain reason: minting and sending art on it costs almost nothing. That is what let a joke become a collection instead of an idea someone abandoned over fees.

Other people started drawing

The Noggins collection is the turn. Anyone can take the blank Dood face, draw it in their own style, and have it minted — the artist creates, we mint, and it comes back to their wallet, theirs to keep or sell.

That one rule is why there is a wall of artists rather than a studio. The character is shared. The hand is not.

A lab, then a home

Tools kept getting built alongside the art — drawing tools, a board, experiments that mostly failed. That workshop became Dood Labs.

One of those experiments outgrew everything around it. The marketplace prototype built inside DoodBrand became XRPL Home — now its own platform, serving artists well beyond Dood. It is the clearest thing this community has made, and it started as a folder on this website.

Things you can hold

Not everything stayed digital. DoodSmooth makes small-batch grooming and self-care in Colorado, and community-designed merch has its own store. The token side of it lives at doodxrpl.com, where the supply and every burn are on the record.

Giving some of it away

A share of NFT and merch sales has always been pointed at charity rather than a treasury — that part is DoodGood, and the split is written into the royalties, not decided afterwards.

The Doodment

The community named itself. Artists, collectors, people who turned up for the memes and stayed to build things — that is the Doodment, and it is the only part of this that was never designed.
